The experience behind the projects
My previous professional work spans insurance, eCommerce and financial technology. At Pimberly I worked on moving a monolithic platform to independently scaling services on AWS. At Covéa I worked on an insurance claims platform, architecture and testing. At Uinsure I built internal tooling and worked on call-centre integrations.
These are parts of my employment and contract history. They are separate from the products I own and operate through TSMW Development LTD; the organisations mentioned here do not endorse this company.
How I build
I start with a useful problem or a game idea, build a small working version and improve it as I learn. Building is only part of the work: operating a product also means maintaining it, listening to feedback and understanding where people get stuck.
My writing follows the same interests: software engineering, SaaS development, game development and lessons from my own projects. I share practical explanations and make the trade-offs visible.
